Contester's & DXer's Code of Misconduct

I WILL never listen before calling.  I could care less whether the frequency is in use because my contest is more important.

I WILL interfere with anyone when calling a DX station and I will tune up on any frequency, even while a QSO is in progress.

I WILL not wait for the DX 'QSO' to end before calling the DX station.

I WILL never give my full call sign because it takes to long.

I WILL call continuously until I get a response or my amplifier melts down.

I WILL continue to transmit my call sign even when the DX station calls another call sign, or requests a geographic location other than mine.

I WILL repeat my callsign over, and over, and over whether I think the DX operator copied my call sign correctly or not.

I WILL run as much power as I can afford to ensure I can bust through the pileup to make that definitive contact.

I WILL conduct myself in any way to ensure that I do make the contact and can care less about other amateurs.

I WILL give the contest station a 5x9 no matter how many times I have to ask him for his call sign.

I WILL run whatever power necessary to be heard over other contesters.

I WILL load up my amplifier on top of QSO's in progress.

When working split I will never listen to insure if the frequency is in use before transmitting.

Compressors are mandatory so as to cause as much interference to adjacent frequencies as possible.  Crank the compression up until the needle stays all the way to the right!

I can care less what other Amateurs think of me because the DX contact or the Contest is the ultimate high.

When I'm on DX-pedition I'll work split and transmit on one frequency and listen across the entire band to ensure that normal sane Amateur's  cannot use any portion of the band.

ALL GENTLEMAN'S AGREEMENTS AND FCC RULES & REGULATIONS CAN BE DISREGARDED - THE CONTEST RULES!!!

There's nothing like several Kw's and compression to bust through those pile-ups!
